Ministry in Majuba

Once again Majuba is the name of the male Resident hall where the guys on our team are going along side the few Christians that live there in order to make an Impact for Christ. But since it is exam time for the students here, the school has made a new rule...No visitors past 6:00 pm. This has had an effect on our time there, since previously we would go into the dorm fro 3:00-9:45, and are able to really put in a lot of time trying to build relationships, and have conversations. Now we are trying to go to campus earlier(around 1:oo pm) But the only problem is that we don't really get a break until night time. So pray that we find our strength in the Lord(Isaiah 40:29-31) And that this would not hinder our Ministry!
We had another Bible study this past week on Matthew 7:15-23, and challenged the men there what it meant to truly know Jesus, and how one can look at there life and see fruit from the Spirit. Pray that Kevin, Tyler, Jorge, and myself could follow-up with these guys and really continue to explain the gospel to them, as well as that the Lord would be moving in their hearts to see their place before Him.
Here are some specific names to be praying for in the Bible study, and in the dorm that we have contact with: Henry, Kanyiso,(very close to giving their life to the Lord, just a little afraid of giving up control and desire to know more about Him) Aks, Sbu, Kiki, Doc, X, Jack, Anathi, Java, Vuyo, Gift, Thabo, Tebza, Lwazi, Alfred, Master P, Musa, Terrence, Hamilton, Teapo, Lucky, Bongs, Jabo(of these guys some may be Christian...or just exposed to the Church culture and know the answers, some openly admit that they are not.) So another thing to pray for is just thank the Lord for these men that are being exposed to His gospel. A lot of them were already contacted by the Christians that we are laboring along side. Also pray that they would have a strong desire to know God more and search for him.
I'd like to ask that you continue praying for the JWC(Joint Winter Conference, a 4 day, 3 night camp) where there will be many talks given and is a great opportunity for all of us to grow closer to the Lord. We are trying to get a lot of these guys to come, because of the things that they can learn there, but the problem is it cost R500(rand) Which is about $60-$70, and is a lot for these men and women. Money is very tight for them. So for them to come is a big commitment on their part we want to help them as much as possible, but want them to make at least a small commitment(from past experience, those who don't make some monetary commitment, but get it all paid for...don't come). So Pray that many would be able to come, and have their Hearts changed by God.
Thanks again!
