CCP Prayer List

So here is a pray list I have put together prior to going, I will most likely be posting more specific request once we get there. Thanks!

Monday: My Personal walk-Pray that I would constantly be seeking the Lord and that he would grow me through His word, my relationship with Him, and prayers.(Psalm 119:33-40, Matthew 6:33)

Tuesday: Fellowship-Pray for the unity of our Team, the 16 students and 2 staff. That we would be of One Spirit in the Body of Christ, and without dissension. Pray that we could be encouraging to one another daily.(1 Corinthians 12:11-13,25-27)

Wednesday: Support Raising- Pray that God would supply me with the $5000, and it is in Him alone that I put my trust. Pray that even more than this would be raised so as to help others on our team, and those in South Africa.( Matthew 7:7-11)

Thursday: Personal Ministry-Pray that I would live boldly for Christ and proclaim Him through my thoughts, words, and deeds. That God would use me as a tool to change others lives.(2^nd Corinthians 4:11-12, Ephesians 6:19)

Friday: Salvation of the UJ Campus-Pray that these students and would come to an understanding of the Gospel of Christ. Also that the vision of God’s kingdom advancing would take hold of their lives.(Romans 1:16)

Saturday: The Campus Outreach Ministry at UJ- Pray that our team and the Staff and students at UJ could again work as a body of believers and be encouraging and uplifting of one another. That the staff and students there would continue to labor hard while we’re there and after we leave, so that Christ might be proclaimed.(Ephesians 4:1-6, Hebrews 10:23-25)

Sunday: Praise and Thanks- Praise and Thank the Lord for Christ and our redemption, and for him using us as His ambassadors. Pray that I would not forget that this is the Lord’s work and His kingdom and to Praise Him for using me.(Psalm 103:1,11-13, Galatians 6:14)

What we are doing

So I am guessing that if your looking at this page you probably know I'm going to South Africa. But I really want to tell you more about what we are doing and why we are going, if i have not yet got the chance to tell you in person.

I'm going down with a team of 16 other college students(8 men and 8 women) and 2 staff members from Georgia Southern University, Augusta State University, Georgia College and State University, Valdosta State University, and Mercer. This is through Campus Outreach, a ministry I have been involved with for the past 2 yrs or so. We will ministering on the Campus of the University of Johannesburg. We will be spending 4 days of the week going into the residence halls of this University in order to build relationships with others and share the gospel through these relationships, and also to teach those that may become Christians how to walk with God and how to share their faith and how to go out and do the same thing; this is the vision of Multiplication, and this is the vision we have been hoping and praying that this is what people who support us are supporting, not just our team for this summer for the students we impact this summer, but for the countless numbers that the Lord can bring to Himself through this idea of Multiplication.

When we are not in the residence halls we have training and studies to continue to develop our own personal ministry and Walk with the Lord.

I am also just excited about being in such close fellowship during the summer, and even laboring along side and fellowshipping with South African Christians, to really see how the Gospel is for the world not just America.
